I’ve just been offered a place at Muchenje Safari Lodge in the Chobe region of Botswana from 12-30 May 2024.
I went last year in May (during the Green Season) and again in October (during the Dry Season), and it was a fantastic experience both times. The Green or Wet Season is better for birdwatching, with hundreds of white-faced whistling-ducks flocking to the Chobe River. The Dry Season is better for seeing animals, and the elephants form herds of up to 300!
If you’re interested in booking a safari at Muchenje yourself, please feel free to check out their website. If you know me personally, I’m also able to offer you a special ‘Friends and Family’ discount, so please let me know if you’re interested.
If you book a trip in May, I’ll be happy to share a few wildlife photography tips with you while I’m there!
PS I took this picture of a little bee-eater last May near Muchenje. Botswana is THE place to go for bee-eaters, so you could end up doing the same…!
